LCC @ Max Roach – website designer

LCC @ Max Roach is a safe place in Brixton where all members of the local community can come together to learn, thrive and succeed. Through meaningful activities, LCC supports and enables local children, young people and residents living in poverty and with other disadvantages. LCC run preschool and holiday play projects, and also support families and young people to improve their emotional/mental health. LCC was established in 1981 by local Loughborough Estate tenants to help improve the lives of local people.  LCC are looking for someone with experience designing and building websites to revamp their current website lccmaxroach.co.uk. They’re hoping to find someone who has strong design capabilities, can work with Trustee and Manager input, can keep the website updated and linked with social media platforms on a regular basis, and can set up one-off and recurring donations. Its a big ask from a fabulous local organisation that makes a tremendous difference to the lives of local people – can you help?

Age UK – phone friends

Age UK Lambeth is an independent local charity working in Lambeth to offer support and services to older people. As Covid and this long winter continue relentlessly, Age UK are still actively recruiting for volunteers. Whether you would like to volunteer to have a 'phone friend' and be matched with an elderly member of the community to have a weekly conversation that will help and reduce isolation and loneliness, or you have some extra time and would like to help elderly members of the community who may be shielding or isolating - whatever way you may able to help, they would love to hear from you.

Link Up – organisational development experts

Use your professional skills for social good and see what a difference you can make in just one hour of Flash Consulting - a fun and efficient way to use your professional expertise to explore fresh solutions to the challenges that local charitable organisations in your community are facing. On Wednesday 24 February 2021, 6pm-7:30pm, Link Up are hosting a Zoom (30 mins introduction and group discussion / 60 mins consultation with an organisation) focussed on strategy and assisting organisations in how to adapt to the ever changing Covid environment. Even in the best of times, achieving core funding is a difficult task for every organisation. In order to be bid-ready, organisations need to be very clear about what they are looking to achieve and how they go about doing that. Could you help a charitable organisation achieve clarity at a time when they need it more than ever? It is a requirement of signing up that you have experience in Strategy, Organisational Development and/or Organisation/Leadership Coaching – would you like to find out more?
