Lambeth Together: engagement
Lambeth Together invite Lambeth voluntary sector representatives to be part of a meeting on how to do engagement differently. Lela Kogbara from Black Thrive will facilitate this conversation aiming to ensure Lambeth's VCSE sector can be a part of this important discussion.

Community Conversations: “We are Lambeth…I am Lambeth."
This is a community-led event to discuss how the community can work together to find new ways to tackle youth violence and create a positive future in Lambeth. If violence is worrying you and you live, work or are growing up in Lambeth, then you need to attend the Community Listening event! No prior involvement is required to participate. Do attend this community-led event, to discuss how the community can work together with the Council and other statutory agencies, to find new ways of tackling youth violence and create a positive future for the next generation. Contributors include the Leader of Lambeth Council, Black Thrive, parents and young people plus many others.
Those attending can expect to explore four key questions at this event:
- How do you think young people are perceived in society?
- How has youth violence impacted on you and the lives of your family?
- How can we empower young people to participate in Lambeth?
- How can we work together to find new ways to tackle youth violence?
Key event outcomes:
- To identify new and emerging leaders within local communities who will work with the Council and other statutory agencies,
- To co-produce/implement the “Tackling violence against young people” strategy.
- To present feedback from the community conversation to the Council.

Lambeth VCSE Networking and Workshopping Event
Lambeth VCSE take over Lambeth Town Hall's Assembly Rooms for a day of networking, collaborative workshops and an opportunity to get to know the amazing work of the many VCSE organisations in the borough of Lambeth.
The Assembly Rooms will be filled with a variety of organisations from across the borough, with a rolling programme of workshops throughout the day focussing on hot topics such as Income Generation, Social Prescribing, Sustainability, Youth Wellbeing and more.
