Thames Water has written to local residents to advise they have started survey works on Norwood Road from Robson Road (West Norwood end) to the junction with Christchurch Road (south circular road; Tulse Hill gyratory).

The current survey works will be carried out overnight (10pm-5am) Sunday to Thursday in stages and should be completed by Friday 14 December.

Thames Water states they may need to turn off the water supply at local addresses, but if so they will advise in writing beforehand.

There will be temporary traffic lights in operation and loading bays, parking bays and bus stops along Norwood Road will be suspended during the working hours.

These works are to identify the extent of replacement/remedial works they need to carry out. The results will determine the method to be used to carry out these further works at a later date.
