Everyone is invited to the Annual Community Memorial Service
This community event for those of all faiths and none, will celebrate the joy and hope of this time of year with glorious live music, communal carol singing and readings as we commemorate those whose funerals have taken place with us in West Norwood Cemetery, as well as all our loved ones that we especially miss at this time of year.
Featuring local professional musicians and singers, everyone is very welcome to attend. You do not need to have a specific relationship with West Norwood Cemetery.
Family and Friends are invited to place a remembrance card on the Memory Tree and there will be a Role of Honour for those whose services have taken place here in the last twelve months.
And there is no need to book a seat, please just make your own way up to the Crematorium Chapel in the middle of the cemetery - allow about 15mins to walk up from the main entrance on the corner of Norwood Road and Robson Road. You may also drive up to the chapel, where free parking is available.
Light refreshments, including mince-pies, will be served after the service.
We look forward to welcoming you - and if you are interested in taking a more active part in the service with a reading or solo performance of some kind, please get in touch with Kim Hart, khart@lambeth.gov.uk
