April’s Mambista features Alvorada who play Brazilian Choro, a joyous music genre originating from Rio de Janeiro and fusing European and African influences. Alvorada play a wide variety of Choro styles, exploring rhythms and styles from all over Brazil (and London).
 
Make sure to keep the first Friday of the month free for Mambista aka The Latin, African and Jazz Dance Party.

The evening kicks off with an all-comers salsa dance class, led by Luis, and the brilliant host Gerry Lyseight then provides the patented Mambista Mash up on the decks on either side of Alvorada through until midnight.
