Sundown Sessions at South Facing Festival

Free live music returns to the Crystal Palace Park bowl with three special Thursday shows. Huge space, no need to reserve tickets, arrive early to get the best spot.

Crystal Palace Festival is partnering with South Facing Festival and the Crystal Palace Park Trust this August to bring you the best in emerging and local talent each Thursday during the festival.

Connecting Creative Communities

9:15pm Soothsayers – the Brixton based nu Afro Beat and Dub collective headline this very special evening of community celebration with their organic unique and universally uplifting sound, lyrical messages, warm sonics and irresistible dance grooves.

7:15pm Spirit of the Estate Jam

Celebrating the expressive and creative voice of people and communities and their aspirations and inspirations. Featuring MC SunSun, DJ DBO and Grounded Movement with Ragtime to Grime we celebrate culturally conscious and socially connected artforms of dance, music and words. With guest appearances by Crystal Palace grime crew About Crw, a collective of six talented young rappers with a unique sound inspired by grime and hip hop.

5:45 – 6:45pm South London Youth Orchestra (SLYO) performing Tchaikovsky’s 5th Symphony

SLYO is an orchestral experience designed to nurture and train young musicians to be inspired orchestral players, encouraging them to perform to their highest abilities and serving the diverse communities of south London and beyond.

Doors at 5:30pm; curfew at 10:00pm.
