Oranges and Lemons – 300 years of scurvy

Scurvy killed 2 million British sailors, due to Vitamin C deficiency, from a diet without fruit or vegetables.  Find out how Vitamin C works, the military and naval catastrophes, and the orange and lemon cure – repeatedly ignored until the discovery of Vitamin C in 1928.
