A neighbourhood plan for a safe and stable climate creating high level policy objectives for our neighbourhood plan.

This workshop is designed to help the community write a neighbourhood plan which embeds climate change adaptation and mitigation issues across all policy themes.

The programme for the evening:

6:30pm Arrivals and tea and coffee

7:00pm Welcome, introduction and ground rules

7:10pm Presentation – Context of climate change: impacts, risks and legislation

7:25pm Workshop explanation and delivery of set up script

7:35pm Workshop – setting high level policy objectives

8:10pm Reviewing high level policy objectives

8:20pm Comparison with CSE’s suggested list

8:30pm Coffee / tea break (and reflection / discussion opportunity)

8:40pm Finalisation of high level policy themes and identification of changes which can be achieved through planning

8:50pm Agreeing next Steps

9:00pm Close
