Lambeth Council is running a series of events all over the borough to celebrate Black History Month - history, arts, literature and film are all covered.  However, there are only a few events in the south of the borough; these are on our patch:

West Norwood Library:
Wednesday 25 October 2:30-3:30pm
For children: Hands on Our Instruments
Saturday 28 October 2:30pm
The Adventures of Zolie Zi with author Sonya J Bowser

Upper Norwood Library:
Friday 27 October 10:30-11:30am
For ages 3-6: A Carnival of Stories

Look our for other events celebrating the month which are organised by other organisations, e.g there was a great series of talks last Sunday organised by West Norwood Feat at The Portico Gallery.
