You're invited: Norwood Green Day and our Annual Community Review & AGM

Welcome everyone to a fun day focused on all things green in our community:
Green spaces, green energy, green jobs and training, clean air and recycling.

At West Norwood Library & Picturehouse, we'll have stalls from a range of environmental groups working on things like solar energy, home retrofit, community gardens and clean air, friends of the parks, and eco-friendly traders.
There'll be free family-friendly activities with contests and creative fun for all - and we will also be hosting talks on renewable energy, energy efficiency, clean air, recycling and green jobs and training opportunities.
So, if you're curious about whether a heat pump will work in your house or whether you can recycle toothpaste tubes, want to know what's going on in our parks and community gardens or how to make your home more energy and water efficient, come along!

Our programme for the day will also include our Annual Community Review and AGM between 1.15pm-1.45pm
This annual event brings together residents, community groups and local partners to celebrate achievements and shape priorities for the year ahead.
Whether you’re new to the area or a long-time supporter, your presence and input are hugely valued.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Volunteering with Norwood Forum
What does this look like?

Volunteering with Norwood Forum is a great opportunity to:

  • Learn new skills or build on existing ones (e.g. social media, event organising, writing, website management, public speaking)
  • Meet like-minded people in your area
  • Support meaningful community-led projects
  • Help shape the future of Norwood.

Whether you’re completely new to volunteering, or have years of experience - we want to hear from you. Your fresh ideas and perspectives are what help us grow and stay relevant.

The Forum is run by local volunteers who are elected annually.
Now is your chance to get involved - whatever time you have to volunteer, however limited that might be.
